Stanley has an insight and a unique way of viewing cases and case strategy. He regularly looks for ways to enhance the defense with approaches that are both creative and distinct, while remaining acceptable under the rules of evidence.

We have won acquittals (U.S. vs. Armadoras, for example) and other important victories for clients based on our work together and the weight of financial evidence he was able to provide. Finally, Stanley calls it as he sees it, no matter who the attorney or client may be. As a result, he has developed a well-deserved reputation with attorneys and judges as a practitioner with integrity.

“Stanley calls it as he sees it, no matter who the attorney or client may be.”

Bruce H. Fleisher, P.A.

Stan Foodman’s firm has worked with me on several very complex high-profile cases, including the John Connolly murder trial. Director Martin Scorsese’s film “The Departed” was based on the case along with The New York Times bestseller Black Mass. Connolly was a top level Boston FBI Agent charged along with members of Boston’s Irish Winter Hill Gang, with multiple homicides, including the murder of the CEO/President, and owner of World Jai Alai.

His firm’s work was invaluable to my defense in this case. Mr. Connolly was accused of (among other things) taking payoffs for information that led to the murders. Stanley’s staff examined more that 120,000 pages of financial documents, assisted with depositions and provided expert witness testimony. We were able to show that John Connolly supported his lifestyle from legitimate income, which resulted in a partial acquittal.*

Bruce Fleisher is one of the nation’s foremost criminal defense attorneys. Based in Miami, he has tried more than 250 jury trials, 30 first degree murder trials and 18 capital cases to verdict.

*Mr. Connolly was acquitted on a charge of first degree murder conspiracy.
